WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Rob Portman’s (R-Ohio) staff will hold office hours in Miami County on Tuesday, April 12. During this time, constituents will have the opportunity to share their thoughts and concerns with a district representative who will provide their feedback to the senator.
Portman’s staff will visit from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Miami County Commissioner’s Office Small Hearing Room. 201 W. Main St., Troy.
“Keeping an open dialogue with constituents is a top priority for me and I encourage people to take advantage of the opportunity to talk to a member of my staff,” Portman said. “I’ve traveled to every county in the state and have found it helpful to hear about the issues that are of primary concern to Ohioans. Listening to constituents enables me to better determine how I can fight for their interests in Washington.”
Portman staff will travel to each county in Ohio to meet with constituents during office hours, connect with local elected officials, and attend community events.
No appointments are necessary. For more information, call Senator Portman’s Community Outreach Representative, Robert Braggs, at (513) 684-3265.
