COLUMBUS — The Ohio Secretary of State’s office has instructed all boards of elections to embargo election results until the polls close in Hamilton County at 9 p.m.
Late this evening, a lawsuit was filed in Hamilton County Common Pleas Court resulting in an order to keep voting locations in Hamilton County open until 9 p.m.
As a result, the Secretary of State has directed that no county may release election results until polls close in Hamilton County.
All counties except Hamilton County must continue their unofficial canvassing and continue reporting results to the Secretary of State’s election night reporting system.
