Staff Reports

TROY — The third annual Miami County Food Truck Rally & Competition was held Saturday, May 20, at the Miami County Fairgrounds.

A fundraiser of the Miami County Agricultural Society, the event drew 53 food trucks — and thousands of visitors — during the 2107 event.

Event co-chairs Jill Wright and Roberta Jacobs were both pleased with the turnout for the rally.

“We couldn’t have asked for more support from the community,” Wright said.

Jacobs agrees.

“The weather held out for the most part and the event was an overwhelming success. We couldn’t be happier,” she said.

Funds raise will be used to improve the fairgrounds.

Mark your calendars — the 2018 event already has been scheduled for Saturday, May 19.
