Staff Reports

TROY — Troy Civic Theatre will contiue to stage Neil Simon’s “Rumors,” this weekend and next at The Barn in the Park, Troy.

The production is centered around a large, tastefully appointed Sneden’s Landing townhouse where the Deputy Mayor of New York has just shot himself.

Though only a flesh wound, four couples are about to experience a severe attack of farce. Gathering for their 10th wedding anniversary, the host lies bleeding in the other room and his wife is nowhere in sight.

His lawyer, Ken and wife Chris must get “the story” straight before the other guests arrive. As the confusion and miscommunication mount, the evening spins off into classic farcical hilarity.

The show will be offered at 8 p.m. Friday, March 10 and Saturday, March 11.

Reservations can be made by calling 339-7700 or visiting troycivictheatre.com.
