TROTWOOD — The Piqua bowling teams swept Trotwood-Madison Tuesday.
The boys won 2,197.
Travis Smith lead the Indians with games of 224 and 250. Austin Jenkins had games of 226 and 168. Mitch Havenar had 198 and 175. Kyle Ingle added a 192 while Dameon Banning had 159 and Logan Hall had a 157. The team struggled in the baker games making spares with games of 151 and 164.
The Piqua girls posted a 1,917-607 win over Trotwood-Madison.
Kyra Buchanan had games of 181 and 188 for a 369 series.
Sarah Ganger rolled a 216 game, while Rayna Brownlee had a 179.
CASSTOWN — The Miami East boys basketball team cruised to an 82-25 win over National Trail Tuesday in CCC action.
Damien Mackesey led the Vikings with 25 points.
Logan West scored 14, Braxton Donaldson netted 11 and Ryan Haney added 10.
BRADFORD — The Bradford boys basketball team lost to Tri-Village 82-27 in CCC action.
Andy Branson led Bradford with 10 points.
LEWISBERG — The Covington boys basketball team got past Tri-County North 47-46 Tuesday in CCC action.

JACKSON CENTER — The Jackson Center Tigers came up with some key plays in the final period to overtake the Russia Raiders and hold on for a 45-42 thriller in County boys basketball action Tuesday night at Jackson.
The Tigers remained unbeaten with the win at 7-0 and are 5-0 and in sole possession of the top spot in the SCL race. They host Columbus Grove next Tuesday.
Russia is 4-1 and 5-2 and next plays in the Piqua Holiday Tournament next Tuesday and Wednesday. They meet Covington in the first round.
Russia led 32-30 after three periods, but the Tigers gained the upper hand, leading by as many as five late before Russia came up with one of its nine three-pointers. But the Tigers got a free throw with seven seconds left and made it stand up.
HOUSTON — The Anna Rockets won for the fourth straight time Tuesday, knocking off the Houston Wildcats in SCL boys basketball action 47-35.
The win put Anna at 3-2 in the league and 5-2 overall heading into a game at Marion Local Saturday.
Houston dips to 0-5 in the SCL and 2-7 overall and returns to action Jan. 2 at Fort Loramie.
Anna broke away from a 15-15 tie after a quarter to a 28-23 lead at the half, then made it a nine-point game after three periods.
Domyneik Phipps had 17 points for the Wildcats.
NEW BREMEN — New Bremen cruised to a 65-31 victory over Lehman in non-league girls play Tuesday night.
Lehman was led by Brogan McIver with nine and Alanna O’Leary with eight.
Hannah Fogt and Carly Edwards both grabbed seven rebounds.
