Edison playersare honored



Two Edison Community College basketball players were recently named Ohio Community College Athletic Conference Players of the Week.

Cody May received the men’s honor for scoring 21 points, grabbing 12 rebounds, dishing out three assists and adding one steal in a win over Hocking College.

Brooke Dunlevy received the women’s honor for averaging 22.5 points in games with Ohio State University-Mansfield and Miami University-Middletown.

On the 30-player All-GWOC football team, one Piqua player was honor.

Senior defensive back Alex Nees was named to the team.

Piqua will be accepting nominations for the Piqua Athletic Hall of Fame until Dec. 18.

Tickets are $4 for children under 13 and $7 for adults.
