There will be a meeting for Piqua High School boys golf parents at 7 p.m. on Thursday.

The meeting will be in the PHS library.

All golfers and parents are invited to attend.

Gover cards

34 at Echo

Ben Gover was low gross with 34 in the Thursday Industrial League at Echo Hills.

Brian Deal was second with 35 and Jeff Cotner was third with 36.

Joe Hostetter and Trent Karn shared low net honors with 30.

Jon Allen and Jeremy Davis tied for second with 31.

Piqua Chamber

outing set for July

The Piqua Area Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual Chamber Golf Classic on July 17 at Piqua Country Club.

The event begins at 11 a.m. with registration, followed by lunch and a noon shotgun start.

Cocktails will be served at 5 p.m. at a cash bar, followed by dinner and awards.

Cost is $150 per golfer or $600 per team.

Proceeds go to support Chamber programs, services and activities.

Blythe event

at Stillwater

WEBSTER — The annual Christmas in July golf outing honoring the memory of Staci Jo Blythe will be held July 22 at Stillwater Valley Golf Club.

This fundraiser has helped over 1,000 children. Last year, it benefitted 125 children locally as well as an unknown number at of kids at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus who receive treatment at The James Cancer Hospital at The Ohio State Unviversity where Staci was also treated.

The outing will be a four-person scramble with a Peoria Handicap System and prizes will be given for first place gross score, first place net score and proximity awards.

A meal will be provided.

Cost is $25 for employees/cart pass, $35 for Stillwater members, $40 for Stillwater Trail Pass or Stillwater W.D. Members and $60 for Stillwater guests.

Hole sponsorships are available for $50, mulligans are $20 per team and there will be a 50/50 raffle.

Deadline for entry is July 18.

Piqua girls

holding scramble

The Piqua girls basketball team will be holding its annual golf scramble out at Echo Hills.

This year’s event will be held July 15.

Registration begins at 7 a.m., with an 8 a.m. shotgun start.

Cost of the event is $60 and entry fee includes entry into all events, 18 holes of golf, riding cart, lunch and various awards.

There will be putting challenges, longest drive and closest to the pin challenges, 50-50 raffle, cash awards and giveaways.

Dixon Golf will be on hand for huge prizes for a hole-in-one.
