soccer game in July
SIDNEY — The 12th annual Lehman Catholic Men’s Alumni Soccer game is scheduled for July 29, with a 10 a.m. kickoff at Lehman Catholic High School.
This tradition was started after the Lehman varsity team was established in the fall of 2004 to allow the alumni who started the club team at Lehman Catholic to compete against the current varsity team.
It has evolved into a yearly event that allows the alumni to return to their former glory, promote giving back to the program and to bring together current and past players.
This is designed to be a friendly exhibition without injury. After the game, lunch will be provided for all players and their families.
BK Root Beer has generously offered to provide chili dogs again this year. The drinks and sides will be provided by the current players and their families.
Please be sure to thank them either verbally or through a donation to the Lehman Catholic Annual Fund or directly to the athletic program.
Players are reminded to bring water, a white shirt, navy blue shirt, shin guards, cleats, and socks to the game.
Please show up at prior to 9:30 a.m. to make time for a group picture, quick-touches and participate in some light stretching.
