Woman identified in fatal crash

By Melody Vallieumvallieu@civitasmedia.comPIQUA — The name of a woman who died in an early morning crash Saturday has been released.Iona Scarberry, 53, of Piqua, was pronounced dead at the scene of a crash on Piqua-Lockington Road, just past Clevinger Road, at about 5:30 a.m. Saturday, according to Miami County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Todd Tennant.Scarberry was the driver of a car headed to Lockington, Tennant said, along with 17-year-old Brianna Graham. Graham was taken by Piqua Fire Department medics to Upper Valley Medical Center where she was treated and released for minor injuries.
