To the Editor:
I wanted to thank a few people who helped me out when my car stopped on Park Avenue hill on Monday, Jan. 11.
There was a man who stopped immediately to see if he could help. He had trouble opening the hood as it was frozen, but didn’t stop until it was opened. He tried to help and I was so grateful.
Soon after that, a man from the Parks Department stopped to help with traffic at the top of the hill while a Piqua police officer directed traffic at the bottom of the hill and helped get a tow truck.
It was one of the coldest days we had had and bless you for helping. I am sorry I didn’t get anyone’s name, but you know who you are.
Thank you also to the two tow truck drivers from Knight’s Towing and for assistance from Viva at their office.
There really are angels among us!
