To the Editor:

When Obama took over from the previous regime job loss was approaching 700,000 per month. Roughly 20,000 per day, Wall Street was under-performing and falling with GOP offering no help and promising to make Obama an one term President. This they have been most efficient at, obstructing Obama plans to stop the hemorrhaging and getting the country back on its feet. The country started its recovery by passing the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) with the GOP and others hollering it won’t work. It was signed into law Dec. 17, 2009, by President Obama and implemented and it did work. The games began on the GOP side by every trick it had in its playbook.

Lying Sen. Mitch McConnell, minority leader and Speaker of the House Rep. John Boehner, followed by most of house and senate Republicans, in lock step with their tactics aimed toward Obama at the expense of the country. Example, the affordable act (AFCA) now we all know there has to be changes made to improve AFCA we know that for over 100 years presidents have been trying to get some form of health care in the United States and finally we have vehicle to do that. But they vote over 50 times to abolish AFCA when they could have been working on it to improve the AFCA. But have wasted this time by using tactics to stop him from passing any legislation that would help the country to get back on its feet. It’s been one big gigantic game of stopping Pres. Obama to achieve success at the expense of the country. At no time in recent history have I found that to be the case.

Maybe somebody could enlighten me. In spite of all delays, lies, hearings, filibusters, and shutdown he has managed to govern quite well. The economy has created nine million jobs, had 52 months of economic growth, and lowered unemployed to 6.1 percent and the Dow is over 17,000 in spite of getting no help from the GOP.

I don’t know where they are taking these polls but it must be people who don’t follow the news or just listen to what they want to hear.
