To the Editor:

I am taking this time to share my opinion with the voters of Miami County regarding the upcoming May 6 election for next Miami County Common Pleas Court Judge.

The power of the vote is an immeasurable privilege that we all have as part of being an American. This voting privilege can be used wisely in order to better our small towns and communities. By placing the right people in positions that are responsible for spending our hard earned tax dollars is our only way we can have an influence on the efficiency of our local government. The Miami Count Common Please Court runs on our hard earned tax dollars. We pay for it every day. It is necessary for imposing the proper penalties on those who chose not to respect the law.

Mrs. Pratt’s 17 years experience working in the Miami County Common Pleas court makes me feel comfortable with my vote for her. She has seen what works and what doesn’t. Based on this working experience and background, she knows what’s needed to minimize wasteful inefficiency. On the same level of importance, I am also confident that her conservative values will enable her to judge with confidence, integrity and without bias. She sets this example daily by working on complex cases involving multiple parties with different ages and backgrounds all the while maintaining a level of professionalism and competence.

I encourage Miami County voters to spend their vote wisely on a candidate that has experience in the Miami County Common Pleas Court. She will be working for us making our small towns and communities better for all of us to live in so lets make the right choice.

Regards,

Marc Gilardi
