PIQUA — The final third reading of four separate ordinances tops the agenda for Tuesday’s commission meeting, along with two new resolutions.
The former consists of repealing schedule A and A-1 of Chapter 33 in the Piqua Code related to wages of certain municipal employees and vacating two public right-of-ways.
New resolutions will include entering into a lease agreement to permit use of Fountain Park, Hardman Field, and Hance Pavilion to the Piqua Fourth of July Association. The second will be discussion on awarding a contract to L.J. DeWeese Co. Inc. for the sidewalk ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) compliance program.
Tuesday’s commission will also hold a special presentation to announce the winners of the city’s Bike to Work week held during National Bike Month on May 12-16.
Commission meetings are held at 7:30 p.m. every first and third Tuesday of the month, on the second floor of the Government Municipal Complex, in the commission chamber. The public is invited and encouraged to attend. For information on meetings, work sessions, and more, visit piquaoh.org.
