WILMINGTON – Casstown resident Daniel D. Bodenmiller of Rugged Hill Road, is the recipient of a $7,000 Recognition Award to attend Wilmington College, where he plans to major in education.

He will graduate in 2014 from Miami East High School. His main activities and honors include: FFA (State Degree), varsity football (three-year varsity) and 4-H (10-year member).

Bodenmiller is the son of Mark R. and Brenda L. Bodenmiller of Casstown.

Other types of scholarships and award amounts are available from Wilmington College, a career-oriented liberal arts institution affiliated with the Society of Friends (Quakers). It is located in southwestern Ohio, approximately one hour from Cincinnati, Columbus and Dayton. The Blue Ash branch campus serves a large number of non-traditional students.
