Helke has new role
TROY — Ohio’s Hospice has announced changing roles and responsibilities for members of the leadership team.
Among those assuming a new role with the organization is Troy resident Beth Helke, who has been named Director of Mission Optimization with Ohio’s Hospice.
Helke began her hospice career with Ohio’s Hospice of Miami County in 2007. Prior to her new role, she most recently served as director of care for Ohio’s Hospice of Miami County. She now spearheads the Mission Support Services Project at Ohio’s Hospice.
She will also continue in her role as privacy officer and lead process improvement.
Nichols recognized for customer service
MIAMI COUNTY — Kirk Nichols, an American Family Insurance agent in Piqua and Troy has been recognized for providing an outstanding customer experience under the American Star Excellence in Customer Experience Certification Program.

The service excellence distinction was determined through an evaluation process conducted under guidelines established through the American Star Excellence in Customer Experience Certification Program. The process consists of a customer satisfaction survey which measures customers’ overall experience with their current American Family agent.
Nichols has been an agent for American Family since October 2002. He has offices located at 126 N. Sunset Drive in Piqua, and 37 Robin Hood Lane in Troy.
