Fox promoted at Unity Bank

PIQUA — Unity National Bank is pleased to announce the promotion of Bryant Fox from commercial credit analyst to commercial lender. Fox joined Unity in December 2016 after working several years at two of Unity’s affiliate banks. He is looking forward to becoming more involved in local service organizations and contributing to the success of the Miami Valley.

Fox is a graduate of Piqua High School and Ohio State, and is currently working on his MBA through The Ohio State Fisher School of Business. He and his wife, Kendra, currently reside in Piqua. In his spare time, he likes to spend time with his family, golf, run, watch the Buckeyes, and read.

Y to hold Family Night

PIQUA — The Miami County YMCA Piqua Branch will hold a Family Night on Friday, Jan. 19, at the Youth Center. The event, for youths in grades 5-12, will take place from 5-8:30 p.m. Parents are welcome to stay. Youth Center staff will be present.

Pizza, popcorn, hot dogs and other snacks will be provided. Activities include PlayStation 4, Wii, ping-pong, pool, corn hole, board games, Color Me Calm, crafts, and other activities.

Family Night is free for YMCA members and $3 for non-members.

Family Olympic events planned

PIQUA — The Family Winter Olympics will be held at the Piqua YMCA Branch starting at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 3. Kick off the Winter Olympics with your family by participating in eight family events. Medals will be given out for each event and points will be tallied for an overall winner.

Dress in comfortable clothing, sneakers and bring your swimsuits. Get in the Olympic spirit and register at either branch today.

YWCA hosts monthly program

PIQUA — The YWCA Piqua’s new monthly program, YWCA Connections, will be held from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. the third Thursday of each month.

On Thursday, Jan. 18, the guest will be Christy Shell, certified life, career and executive coach of Zeal Coaching. She will discuss how to “Stop Sabotaging Yourself.”

The cost is $10 for YWCA Piqua members, $12 for non-members. Payment is due at the door; reservations not paid will be billed.
