PIQUA — The following are highlights from the Piqua police reports. All information is provided by Piqua police reports.
THEFT: A female reported a theft of her cell phone on the 800 block of Boone Street between March 8 at 8:30 p.m. and March 9 at 8 a.m.
There was a theft of money from a vehicle reported on the 1200 block of W. High Street overnight between March 8-9.
A male juvenile and female juvenile reportedly concealed items at Ulbrich’s Market, located on the 400 block of S. Wayne Street, on March 9 at 3:20 p.m. The male was charged with first-degree misdemeanor theft. The female was charged with complicity.
A small metal table was reportedly stolen off of a porch on the 800 block of Nicklin Avenue. It was reported on March 9 and the victim advised it had been stolen sometime in the last few days.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE: A subject reported that a tire on his vehicle had been slashed sometime overnight on the 1300 block of Washington Avenue between 1-7 a.m. on March 9.
SUSPICIOUS: There was a report of numerous juveniles who appeared like they might be trying to fight in the parking lot of Main Source Bank, located on the 100 block of W. High Street, on March 9 at 4:43 p.m. No one was fighting and they were told to leave the lot.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT: A complainant reported that he was awoken by two people shouting outside on the 400 block of Weber Street on March 10 at 1:37 a.m. The complainant stated that the two people were “shouting and threatening to beat him up,” according to police reports.
There was a report of a disturbance between a male and female on the 900 block of W. Ash Street on March 10 at 5:55 p.m. The male was reportedly cited for disorderly conduct.
A subject reportedly punched the driver’s side window of a vehicle on the 100 block of Glenn Street on March 10 at 8 p.m. The complainant reportedly knew the subject. There was no damage to the vehicle.
ASSAULT: There was a report of a student assaulting another student at the Piqua High School on March 10 at 10:17 a.m. The male juvenile offender was reportedly suspended from school and charged with first-degree misdemeanor assault.
BURGLARY: A house was reportedly broken into on the 1600 block of Haverhill Drive on March 10 between 12:30-1 p.m. A television was reportedly stolen.
DISTURBANCE: A female stated her boyfriend physically assaulted her on March 10. Richard E. Daniels, 56, of Piqua was charged with first-degree misdemeanor domestic violence in connection with this incident.
