Piqua police reports highlights


PIQUA — The following are highlights from the Piqua police reports. All information is provided by Piqua police reports.

DRUG OFFENSE: There was a report of a subject sleeping in a running vehicle in front of a residence for 15 minutes on Fairfax Avenue on Nov. 20 at 7:15 a.m. A syringe was located. Quentin B. Carter, 34, of Piqua, was charged with second-degree misdemeanor possession of a drug abuse instrument in connection with this incident.

DISTURBANCE: There was a report of a male subject hitting a female subject in the parking lot of the Salvation Army Family Store on Looney Road on Nov. 20 at approximately 9 a.m.

DRUG OVERDOSE: There was a report of a 30-year-old male subject on the ground on White Tail Lane on Nov. 20 at approximately 2:15 p.m. Units responded, and the male subject had reportedly overdosed on heroin. A squad transported the male subject to UVMC.

ASSAULT: There was a report of a victim getting assaulted by a female suspect at the Bent Tree Apartments on Nov. 20 at approximately 9 p.m. The injured victim was transported to the hospital. Bryanna N. Featherstone, 18, of Piqua, was charged with first-degree misdemeanor assault in connection with this incident.

THEFT: Two white male subjects entered an unlocked shed on Robinson Avenue and allegedly stole hedge trimmers on Nov. 21 at approximately 1:20 p.m.

FOUND PROPERTY: A bicycle was found on North Downing Street on Nov. 21 at 3:10 p.m. The bicycle was entered into property control on station.

WARRANT: Cathy S. Lester, 48, of Piqua, was picked up on a warrant on Nov. 21 for fifth-degree felony drug possession, first-degree misdemeanor possession of a drug abuse instrument, and first-degree misdemeanor probation violation.
