PIQUA — The following are highlights from the Piqua police reports. All information is provided by Piqua police reports.
WARRANT: Brittany N. Bryant, 31, of Piqua, was picked up on a warrant for first-degree misdemeanor possession of a drug abuse instrument on Nov. 13. Bryant was originally charged in August in connection with an incident on Adams Street.
THEFT: There was a video of two subjects removing items from Walmart without paying for them on Nov. 13 at 4:35 p.m. Robert Jenkins, 43, of Piqua, was charged with first-degree misdemeanor theft in connection with this incident. Roger Jenkins, 42, of Piqua, was charged with first-degree misdemeanor complicity in connection with this incident.
Two bottles of alcohol were reported stolen from Kroger on Nov. 14 at 7:05 p.m. Dustin B. Reedy, Sr., 33, of Piqua, was charged with complicity in connection with this incident.
A female juvenile offender, 12, was charged with first-degree misdemeanor theft in connection with a report of shoplifting at Walmart on Nov. 15 at 3:40 a.m.
Tools were reported stolen on Covington Avenue on Nov. 14 at 8:15 a.m.
A vehicle was reported stolen on West Greene Street sometime between Nov. 10-14.
SUSPICIOUS: There was a report of shots fired on Riverside Drive on Nov. 13 at 4:45 p.m. The area was checked, and nothing was located.
There was another report of shots being fired on Caldwell Street on Nov. 13 at approximately 5:45 p.m. The area was checked, and nothing was located.
DRUG OVERDOSE: There was a report of a male subject possibly overdosing in a vehicle on Nov. 13 at approximately 8:50 p.m. A woman drove him to the rear parking lot of the Piqua Police Department. She advised she had just picked him up and suspected he overdosed on heroin. He was revived by a squad and then transported to UVMC.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT: There was a report of a fight involving multiple people outside of 1 More on Wood Street on Nov. 13 at approximately 11:40 p.m. Officers found there was a disagreement between two people and one had already left the area. An intoxicated male was given a ride home, and he requested no further involvement.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE: There was a report of a complainant’s security cameras and vehicle getting damaged on Dover Avenue on Nov. 14 at approximately 2:50 a.m. Joshua D. Hayes, 27, of Piqua, was charged with fourth-degree misdemeanor criminal trespass in connection with this incident.
The soft top of a jeep on Covington Avenue was reportedly cut open on Nov. 14 sometime between midnight and 7:50 a.m.
ACCIDENT: There was a traffic crash involving a long distance moving truck taking a wide turn onto Nicklin Avenue in the area of Drexel Avenue on Nov. 14 at 8:30 a.m.
There was a report of a hit skip accident near Kroger on Nov. 14 at 2:30 p.m. The investigation is ongoing.

There was a report of an accident near the Piqua Water Plant on State Route 66 where a car struck a deer on Nov. 15 at 5 a.m.
