PIQUA — The following are highlights from the Piqua police reports. All information is provided by Piqua police reports.
THEFT: Matthew A. Deal, 36, of Piqua, was charged with first-degree misdemeanor theft on Sept. 7. This charge was in connection with a report of shoplifting at Walmart on Sept. 6 at 11:30 p.m. Rocky L. Young, 36, of Piqua, was also charged with first-degree misdemeanor complicity in connection with this incident.
A cell phone was reported stolen on Glenwood Avenue on Sept. 6 at 4:35 p.m.
A rear axel to a derby car was reported stolen on Blaine Avenue on Sept. 6 sometime between 1 a.m. and 4:45 p.m.
DISTURBANCE: There was a report of a disturbance on North Wayne Street on Sept. 6 at 4:20 p.m. A female and male subject were arguing. Both subjects stated the other was physical with them. Both subjects were warned.
MENACING: There was a menacing complaint on South Downing Street on Sept. 6 at 5:20 p.m. A caller advised male subjects at a nearby residence threatened to fight him outside of his residence. The male subjects advised that it was the caller that had made the threats, not them. An officer advised both parties to stay away from one another.
BURGLARY: A complainant advised that the back door to her residence on Commercial Street was forced open on Sept. 6 sometime between 5:30-9:30 p.m. She advised that an outside camera appeared to have been tampered with as well. There was nothing missing or tampered with inside the residence.
DRUG OVERDOSE: There was a report of a drug overdose on South Roosevelt Avenue on Sept. 6 at 11 p.m.
HIT SKIP: An officer was dispatched in reference to a hit skip accident near Town and Country Furniture on West Water Street on Sept. 7 at 12:30 p.m. A vehicle struck another vehicle and left the scene.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT: A vehicle drove by a residence in the area of Brice Avenue and South Street and the occupants were yelling at the subjects at the residence on Sept. 7 at 2:30 p.m. The vehicle then reportedly drove through the yard of the residence.
ACCIDENT: A traffic crash occurred in the area of McKinley and Covington avenues on Sept. 7 at 3:35 p.m.
UNRULY: A female juvenile, 17, was cited for being unruly after a report of a disturbance on Clark Avenue on Sept. 7 at 7:25 p.m.
WARRANT SERVICE: Norro D. Perdue, 45, of Piqua, was picked up on a warrant on Sept. 7.
