PIQUA — The Piqua Public Library is excited to be hosting the Western Ohio Watercolor Society Exhibit through the month of September in their second floor Rollins art gallery. The exhibit, titled “Autumn Landscapes,” showcases the talent of artists from throughout the Miami Valley area.

This is the first time that the library has been fortunate enough to host the work of this group. The exhibition has a remarkable variety of approaches to watercolor and visitors are bound to find pieces that appeal to their tastes. In fact, many of the works on display are available for purchase at the exhibit’s end. Availability, pricing, and contact information is provided for each painting.

The exhibit is free and open to the public. The gallery doors are open during regular library hours: Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The Piqua Public Library is located at 116 W. High St. in the historic Fort Piqua Plaza.
