MIAMI COUNTY — Miami County Common Pleas Court Judge Jeannine Pratt sentenced Thomas Pack, 20, of Piqua, to serve 16 months in prison for stealing a pair of shoes from a male subject by knife point this summer.

Pack entered a plea of guilty by way of bill of information to one count of second degree robbery in July.

On May 31, two victims were reportedly assaulted and robbed by an adult male suspect and a juvenile male suspect in the area of North College Street and Park Avenue around 3 a.m. According to Piqua police reports, the victims said that they were jumped by two white male subjects. The assailants stole a pair of shoes, Air Jordan Cement 4’s valued at $350, and then allegedly threatened to pull a knife during the incident. One of the victims “recalled being punched multiple times on the head,” according to police reports.

Pack and a male juvenile suspect, 16, were charged with second-degree felony robbery.

The juvenile was also charged with unruly and underage consumption in connection with this incident and was later incarcerated at the Miami County Juvenile Detention Facility.
