PIQUA — The following are highlights from the Piqua police reports. All information is provided by Piqua police reports.

ACCIDENT: There was a report of a traffic crash with injuries in the area of Broadway and West High streets on June 9 at 5:40 p.m.

There was a traffic crash involving a motorcyclist and a car in the area of North Sunset Drive and West High Street on June 11 at 12:55 p.m. The passenger of the motorcyclist was transported to the hospital by medics. The at-fault driver was charged.

DRUG OVERDOSE: Officers were dispatched to a report of a female subject not breathing on Adams Street on June 9 at around 6:15 p.m. Medics administered Narcan, and the female subject became responsive. She was transported to UVMC for further evaluation.

An officer responded for a male subject found unconscious from an apparent overdose on Manier Avenue on June 10 at 5:20 p.m. He was alert upon arrival. He went to the hospital with a family member for further treatment.

HIT SKIP ACCIDENT: There was a report of a hit skip traffic crash on Garbry Road on June 9 at approximately 7 p.m.

A male driver ran from the scene of an accident on East Ash Street on June 11 at around noon. He was located and charged.

There was a hit skip accident reported on Nicklin Avenue on June 11 at around 10:30 p.m.

SUSPICIOUS: There was a report of two subjects shooting a BB gun from a porch in a backyard on Vine Street on June 9 at around 8:10 p.m. An officer spoke to two male subject who admitted to shooting cardboard in the backyard. The officer explained the law reference about not shooting BB guns in the city limits, and they put the guns away.

DISTURBANCE: There was a report of disturbance on South Main Street on June 9 at approximately 9 p.m. Both parties involved denied any violence or threats of violence.

An officer responded to a disturbance in the area of Eleanor Avenue and Seidel Parkway on June 9 at around 11:20 p.m. All parties were found to be intoxicated and were warned for disorderly conduct.

There was a report of subjects in a truck threatening a victim on Second Street on June 10 at approximately 1:20 a.m.

An officer saw a female subject shove a male subject on North Wayne Street on June 11 at around 2:30 a.m. When the officer exited the vehicle, the subjects left the area.

There was a report of a suspect attacking a known victim and leaving minor injuries on Cleveland Street on June 11 at 11:30 p.m. The male subject was arrested and charged with fourth-degree felony domestic violence.

OVI: A driver was arrested for suspicion of OVI after a traffic stop on South Wayne Street on June 10 at 12:45 p.m. Kevin J. Dershem, 49, of Fort Loramie, was charged with first-degree misdemeanor OVI-under the influence and fourth-degree misdemeanor open container in a motor vehicle in connection with this incident.

FOUND PROPERTY: A bicycle was found on Garnsey Street on June 11 at 12:40 p.m.

A hypodermic needle was found in the area of West Ash Street on June 12 a little after midnight. It was disposed of.

MENACING: A subject reported someone stalking her on Broadway on June 11.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE: A complainant advised two subjects kicked in his door on South Downing Street on June 11 at 11:50 p.m. Both subjects were charged.

THEFT: A complainant advised a white male subject was on his neighbor’s porch on West Greene Street, and when he yelled at him, the male subject took off running on June 12 at around 1:50 a.m. The subject was located a few blocks away and admitted to stealing a Bic Lighter. The owner of the residence did not want to pursue any charges, and the subject was charged with drug paraphernalia.
