In addition, applications for housing are being accepted for home builds in 2018. The application form and cover letter are available at www.hfhmco.org/news/documents. Please, print, complete and submit to the Habitat office, 150 E. Race St., Troy, OH 45373.

Habitat offers mortgage loans to low-to-moderate income (LMI) families who cannot qualify for conventional bank loans. Habitat can make homeownership affordable by offering flexible terms and zero-interest or zero-equivalent mortgages. Monthly payments are recycled back into what Habitat calls The Fund for Humanity, which helps support the long-term sustainability of our programs.

People in Miami and Shelby counties, and all over the world, partner with Habitat for Humanity to build or improve a place they can call home. Habitat homeowners help build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage. With Habitat’s help, participating homeowners achieve the strength, stability and independence they need to build a better life for themselves and their families.
