PIQUA — The following are highlights from the Piqua police reports. All information is provided by Piqua police reports.

WARRANT: Francisco S. Guerra, Sr., 61, of Piqua, was picked up on a warrant out of Miami County Common Pleas Court for third-degree felony sex offender failing to report change of address on April 14.

ACCIDENT: There was a report of a traffic crash involving a car and bicycle on North Sunset Drive near Dominos on April 15 at approximately 1:15 p.m. There was a minor injury to the juvenile bicyclist. She did not require medical attention at the scene. Her parents were contacted by phone and advised of the crash. She was able to ride the bike home.

There was a report of a a traffic accident on Cambridge Street on April 15 at 3:50 p.m. There were no reported injuries. Gregory S. Mullennix, 47, of Piqua, was charged with first-degree misdemeanor OVI-under the influence in connection with this incident.

There was a report of a traffic accident on Covington Avenue on April 15 at 7:45 p.m. An injury was reported.

Officers responded to an accident in the area of Nicklin and Washington Avenues on April 15 at 10:25 p.m. A caller advised a van had hit a parked car. The at-fault driver was cited for failure to control and failure to reinstate. No injuries reported by party involved.

POSSIBLE DRUG OVERDOSE: An officer responded with the medics on the report of a female subject who had overdosed on Gordon Street on April 15 at approximately 2:30 p.m.

Officers responded to a report of a man not breathing in a vehicle on East Ash Street near Cracker Barrel on April 15 at approximately 5:50 p.m. Officers spoke with the man after he became responsive, and he reportedly admitted to taking heroin.

DISTURBANCE: There was a report of a large disturbance on South Main Street on April 15 at 9:45 p.m. A man was accused of exposing himself. Jeffery L. Corning, 38, of Piqua, was charged with fourth-degree misdemeanor public indecency.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE: A vehicle window was reportedy damaged on West Greene Street on April 15 at 11:30 p.m.

A window on Nicklin Avenue was reportedly damaged from a BB on April 16.

A caller reported someone had punched his truck on Young Street on April 15.

A resident reported someone throwing a rock through the front window of his residence on Young Street overnight between April 15-16.

THEFT: Casey T. Rosengarten, 46, of Piqua, was charged with first-degree misdemeanor theft on April 14.

A female subject reportedly stole a street sign in the area of Nicklin and Washington Avenues on April 16 at 12:25 a.m.

A man reportedly fled on foot after being unable to pay a tab at Z’s Food and Spirits on North Wayne Street on April 16 at approximately 2:35 a.m. Nathan T. Burns, 41, of Xenia, was charged with first-degree misdemeanor theft in connection with this incident.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: A woman who appeared to be intoxicated was reportedly trying to get into a residence in the area of Caldwell and West Ash streets on April 16 at 1:30 a.m. She was warned for disorderly conduct and assisted with getting into her residence.

There was a report of two people arguing at the Piqua Village Apartments who were warned for disorderly conduct on April 16 at approximately 4:45 p.m. A man continued to act disorderly. He was arrested and incarcerated. Samuel C. Box, 24, of Piqua, was charged with fourth-degree misdemeanor disorderly conduct in connection with this incident.

There was a report of a group of juveniles and young adults throwing eggs back and forth at each other on South Street on April 16 at approximately 11:45 p.m.

HIT SKIP ACCIDENT: A parked car was struck by an unknown vehicle on Vine Street on April 16 at approximately 11 p.m.
