PIQUA — The following are highlights from the Piqua police reports. All information is provided by Piqua police reports.
UNRULY JUVENILE: A juvenile reportedly entered the open garage of vacant residence on North Downing Street on April 7 at around 3:20 p.m.
DISTURBANCE: There was a report of a disturbance on Covington Avenue on April 7 at approximately 3:30 p.m. A female subject reportedly had injuries, and a male subject was arrested.
There was a report of a disturbance on West Water Street on April 7 at approximately 11:45 p.m.
There was a report of two men fighting at Z’s Food and Spirits on April 8 at 1:20 a.m. They could not be located. An employee advised the male subject causing problems left.
There was a report of a disturbance in the area of Chevy Lane and Camaro Court on April 8 at around 10:40 a.m.
SUSPICIOUS: A local school complained of alleged possible drug use by the mother of two students on Robert M Davis Parkway on April 7 at 4:10 p.m. Officer made contact with the mother and children. Mother claimed to be sick and not using any drugs. It was determined the children could stay with the mother as long as she stayed at the residence with other adults.
There was a report of a subject sitting in his car that appeared to be getting sick at Walmart on April 8 at approximately 4 a.m. Once on scene, a subject was found to have an upset stomach and did not feel he was safe to drive. Marijuana was reportedly found inside the vehicle in plain view and was seized. The male subject was given a ride home, and the marijuana was destroyed.
THEFT: There was a report of a bicycle stolen from the front yard on Clark Avenue between April 6-7.
A victim stated his vehicle broke down close to his residence, and when he returned the next day to have it fixed, the vehicle was missing. This was reported on Wood Street on April 8 at around noon. The investigation is ongoing.
ACCIDENT: There was a two-vehicle accident in the area of South College Street and Covington Avenue on April 7 at approximately 5 p.m.
TELECOMMUNICATIONS HARASSMENT: There was a report of someone making a false order at local Pizza Hut on April 7 at 4:45 p.m. A subject then reportedly began to harass the delivery driver after he called attempting to locate the residence to deliver the food. It was unknown who the caller was.
FOUND PROPERTY: A bicycle was found in front of a Shell gas station on South Street on April 8 at 12:45 a.m.
