Anderson graduates from basic
SAN ANTONIO, Texas — U.S. Air Force Airman Nolan J. Anderson graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.
The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
Anderson is the son of Donny and Jean Anderson of St. Paris; grandson of Teresa Anderson of St. Paris, Bill Anderson of Dayton, Rick Haney of Piqua, and Chris Haney of Piqua; and great-grandparents, Don and Loretta Smith of St. Paris, and Pauline Maxwell of Urbana. He is also the brother of Nick Haney, Nathan Anderson and Brady Anderson.
The airman graduated in 2016 from Graham High School, St. Paris.
Bethel grad takes recruiting job
FORT WAYNE, Ind. — Army Sgt. Ryan W. Cross has arrived for duty as a recruiter with Fort Wayne Army Recruiting Company, Indianapolis Army Recruiting Battalion, Ill.
He is a 2005 graduate of Bethel High School, Tipp City.
