UNION TOWNSHIP — Arrest warrants have been issued for suspects in a home invasion on Thursday, which ended in one man being shot.

Miami County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to the 7600 block of N. Montgomery County Line Road in Union Township at 11:06 p.m. Thursday in reference to a home invasion in which shots were fired. Upon deputies’ arrival, they located one male suspect outside the residence where he had collapsed from gunshot wounds.

The male has been identified as Keason A. Twitty, 24, of Dayton. Twitty remains in the hospital, however an arrest warrant has been issued for aggravated burglary, according to Chief Deputy Dave Duchak.

Arrest warrants also have been issued for Corey L. Dixon, 18, of Englewood, and James E. Benton, 23, of Clayton, for aggravated burglary, he said.

Additionally, detectives on Tuesday filed an arrest for a fourth suspect, Eric A. Santos, 21, of Dayton, charging him with aggravated burglary.

Detectives have also learned that a fifth suspect was driving the vehicle and are working on releasing his identity.

Additional charges against all suspects are likely forthcoming after consultation with the Miami County Prosecutor’s Office, Duchak said.

As of deadline, Dixon has not been arrested and the sheriff’s office is seeking information from the public as to his whereabouts. All suspects should be considered armed and dangerous.

“The Miami County Sheriff’s Office is thankful to those who have given information related to this case,” Duchak said.

Anyone having additional information is asked to call their local law enforcement agency or the Miami County Communication Center at (937) 440-9911. Anonymous tips can be left at www.miamicountysheriff.org.
