Information provided by the Troy Police Department:
HEROIN OVERDOSE: An officer responded to the address on the report of a possible overdose. The patient was found in the bathroom unresponsive and barely breathing. She was holding a bag that had some capsules of heroin. There were syringes next to her as well. The paramedics gave her Narcan and she began to respond. She was transported to UVMC and was charged with drug possession and possession of drug abuse instruments.
THEFT OF TOOLS: An officer was dispatched to 118 S Elm Street in reference a theft of tools. And officer spoke to the owner who said that he had a medium sized plastic tool box in his shed that was stolen. The tool box was gray with a black top and handle. The box was full of miscellaneous, mix matched tools. The brands were Craftsmen, Mac, and Snap On.
POSSESSION: An officer responded to the parking lot of Meijer to check on suspicious acting subjects. Investigation resulted in charges of theft, receiving stolen property and possession of drug abuse instruments.
POSSESSION :An officer initiated a traffic stop near the intersection of Adams Street and West Main Street. The driver was cited for stop light violation and DUS. A juvenile passenger was charged with possession of marijuana and released to his parents.
GUN GONE: Subject returned home from vacation and found that his hand gun was missing from the residence located in the 200 block of W. Race Street.
PEDESTRIAN STRIKE: A car turning left from the traffic signal on E. Franklin Street at S. Market Street, struck a pedestrian who was crossing in the crosswalk on S.Market Street traveling eastbound. The car had a green light and the pedestrian had a red light. The driver cited for failure to yield to pedestrian in crosswalk.
THEFT: Residential burglary reported in the Terrace Place Apartment complex. PlayStation was stolen.
GUN GONE: Theft of a firearm from a vehicle in the 300 block of East Canal Street. At the same location, an unruly juvenile complaint was filed and two juvenile were charged with unruly and vehicle trespass.
GUN FOUND: An officer responded to the 400 block of Michigan Avenue, Troy, on the report of a gun that had been found by the garage. The gun was found to have been stolen out of Indianapolis. The gun was placed in processed for fingerprints and then placed in property.
SUSPICIOUS PERSON: A report was made of a suspicious person in the South Frank Street location. An officer identified The juvenile was found to be linked to a theft report on East Canal Street. He was charged with theft and returned to his parent’s custody.
