MIAMI COUNTY — The Miami County Board of Commissioners approved several contracts and agreements at their meeting Tuesday morning.
The commissioners awarded a contract for the 2016 center and edge line striping program to Aero-Mark in the amount of $188,000.
The execution of the contract also serves as the notice to proceed with the project.
The commissioners also authorized contract negotiations with Garmann Miller & Associates for the design and engineering of the boiler replacement at the West Central Juvenile Facility.
The county received statements of qualifications for professional design and engineering services, which were considered by a review committee earlier this month. The committee selected Garmann Miller as the most qualified company.
The board also authorized the purchase of two in-car cameras for the Juvenile Court. The cost of this purchase is not to exceed $2,750, including delivery and installation.
The cameras will be installed in the community service work detail and garden vans.
The board also signed several contracts between the Miami County Family and Children First Council and other agencies. These include contracts for services with Riverside of Miami County and the Tri-County Board of Recovery and Mental Health Services.
