PIQUA — Piqua police, with assistance from Sidney police and a K9 unit executed a search warrant at 741 and 741 1/2 South Main Street on Thursday morning.
“As part of our ongoing drug investigations within the City of Piqua, led to evidence that drug trafficking was taking place at 741 and 741 1/2 South Main Street,” said Deputy Chief Marty Grove, “A search warrant was obtained by our detective section and executed.”
“As a result of investigation, a 59 year old female was taken into custody,” Grove said.
Two other subjects were in the downstairs apartment when the warrant was executed. Grove said that they were released but charges could be pending against them, as well.
The charges facing the 59 year old subject will be released later today.
