Pair of Miami Co. crashes send 10 for treatment/evaluation

MIAMI COUNTY - Motorists around the area are urged to use caution on roadways. As the overnight rain turned to snow showers, slick roadways are beginning to cause problems.

Two crashes in less than an hour sent a total of 10 people to Upper Valley Medical Center for treatment.

A two-vehicle crash on State Route 41, between Troy and Covington, left five victims, all with what are reported to be minor injuries. That crash occurred around 12:30 p.m.

A second crash, on Rangeline Road, had medics from Pleasant Hill and Covington busy with five more victims, all reportly with minor injuries.

Both crashes are under investigation by the Miami County Sheriff’s office.
